HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM
K-12 (5-17y.o.) | September 01, 2026 - June 24, 2027
Does your homeschool child like to try new things and hang out with other kids? Do they like to swim, bike, and run?
Check out our new PHYSICAL EDUCATION & MULTI-SPORT PROGRAM! Our inaugural homeschool program will run from September 01, 2026 to June 24, 2027 and offers a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for students (5 - 17 years) to become competent and confident movers. Our homeschool sessions are led by experienced NCCP trained coaches with post-secondary education in kinesiology, physical education, or related fields.
Every child is welcome, regardless of ability or prior experience!
Registration for our Fall 2026 Semester is OPEN!
The registration form is at the bottom of this page.
Our Homeschool Program
We are offering programming for three distinct groups of students between the ages of 5 & 17. While groups may share some facilities or activities, each program follows a separate, age-appropriate program tailored to the developmental needs of the students.
No previous triathlon experience is required and students of all abilities are welcome.
The age categories are approximate. We will do our best to keep friends and people at similar developmental levels together. We will try to accommodate for siblings to avoid different drop-off and pick-up times.

1
Kindergarten - Grade 3
For ages 5 - 9
This group will master the fundamental movement skills that are the building blocks needed to learn more complex sport skills later in life. Basic gameplay strategies will be introduced. Swimming lessons will focus on water safety and basic freestyle and backstroke technique.
2
Grade 4 - Grade 8
For ages 10 - 13
This program transitions kids to learning sport-specific skills. Students will delve deeper into strategic themes that are common between popular games and be introduced to goal setting within a sport context. Students will learn to appreciate working hard while training to develop specific fitness components.
3
Grade 9 - Grade 12
For ages 14 - 17
Not only will participants in this cohort get to work through challenging training sessions and games with their friends, they will also have a chance to coach the younger kids through some of their sessions. We want to help today's athlete's become tomorrow's leaders as we mentor kids on the art and science of coaching.
It is not ALL about moving.
Kids will build vital social skills and have time to make new friends!
All Students will...
-
Be exposed to traditional PE games and activities.
-
Develop fundamental movement skills, sport-specific skills and learn game strategy.
-
Explore Edmonton's bike pathways in the first six weeks, while developing their cycling and safe group riding skills.
-
Practice their running skills through games and cross country training.
-
Practice their swimming skills during the final four weeks.
...among other fun activities!
