SUMMER CAMPS
6 - 16 years | June 29 - August 28, 2026
Does your child like to swim, bike, or run? Do they like to try new things and explore the outdoors? Check out our MULTI-SPORT SUMMER CAMPS! Our 2026 camps will run from June 29 to August 28 and offer a fun, active, and supportive environment for young athletes (6 - 16 years) to explore swimming, biking, and running. Camps are led by experienced NCCP trained coaches and designed to balance structured training, skill development, free play, and classic camp activities.
Registration for our 2026 Summer Camps is now OPEN!
The registration form is at the bottom of this page.
Our Camps
We are offering three distinct camps, running concurrently, for athletes aged 6 - 16. While groups may share some facilities or activities, each camp follows a separate, age-appropriate program tailored to the developmental needs of the athletes. No previous triathlon experience is required and all abilities are welcome.
The age categories are approximate. We will do our best to keep friends and people at a similar developmental level together.

1
Introduction to Triathlon
(6 - 8 years)
A fun, playful introduction to triathlon that emphasizes movement, safety, and confidence. Using Kinsmen Park, we will practice our cycling and running skills (with plenty of playground and spray park time mixed in). Swimming lessons will focus on water safety and swimming fundamentals.
2
Young Triathletes
(9 - 13 years)
This camp blends structured training with games and exploration. It is similar to the Summer Camps that Triathlon Alberta has put on in the past. Kids will have the opportunity to learn new skills and strategies in all three sports while making new friends and exploring what it means to be a triathlete in Edmonton.
3
Leadership in Triathlon
(14 - 16 years)
Not only will participants in this camp get to work through challenging training sessions with their friends, they will also have a chance to coach the younger kids through some of their sessions. We want to help today's athlete's become tomorrow's leaders as we mentor kids on the art and science of coaching.
It is also not ALL about triathlon.
This week will be filled with games, activities, and free time as well.
All Campers will get to...
-
Practice their swim skills 4 times a week at Kinsmen Sports Centre
-
Develop their cycling skills, safe group riding, and explore the river valley
-
Go on a few bike adventures in the Mill Creek Ravine area, and explore Edmonton's river valley.
-
Cool off the spray park and creek.
-
Practice their run skills through games and relays
-
Participate in those traditional camp activities such as crafts and games
...among other fun things!
